At Texas Avenue Medical Clinic, we are on the front lines combatting the crippling disease of addiction and helping you take back control of your life.

As the first certified addiction medicine physician in Brazos Valley, Dr. Cherian has been working with individuals to overcome addiction for nearly 20 years. She leads a treatment program built first and foremost on a personal relationship with the individual. Through a holistic approach, including counseling, medication, and lifestyle interventions, we help patients achieve positive, lasting change. We have helped hundreds of individuals already and, given our outstanding success rate, we believe we can help you too!

About Our Medication Assisted Treatment Program

We address a wide array of addictions and behavioral disorders, including eating disorders, stresses resulting from traumatic life experiences, and addictions involving opiates, alcohol and other substances.

Our program couples medication management with a holistic lifestyle approach and in-house counseling with our licensed professional counselor.

Depending on your specific needs, to help treat your opiate addiction we may be able to prescribe various buprenorphine/naloxone combination therapies including Suboxone, Zubsolv, and Bunavail or naltrexone-based medications such as Vivitrol.

We accept all major insurance providers (including Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial providers) as well as self-pay.

With over 100 patients currently enrolled, our program provides an invaluable, enriching community.

We try to make ourselves as accessible to you as possible by taking appointments or walk-ins every day of the week, with our in-house counselor available Mon-Fri.
